Full time teacher, feminist killjoy and mighty girl leader. I have a lot of plans and not enough time to keep them and I spend all my money on books.

I run the Mighty Grrl Movement website which was started as an extension of the work I do as a primary school teacher and self-appointed ‘Mighty Girl Leader’ running my female empowerment group for 9-11 year olds. The name is a tribute to the feminist punk movement, Riot Grrrl, which helped me find my voice as a young woman using music, writing and fashion to express myself.

I blog here sporadically but post mini-blogs about feminism and teaching on Instagram most days.
